Following the riots in August, we once again demonstrated our willingness to differentiate the service we provide by assisting our policyholder's in the completion of Riot Damages Act claim forms, for their uninsured losses. In all over 130 forms were reviewed by both Mitsui Sumitomo at Lloyds' staff and our legal team and subsequently submitted to the relevant Police Authorities.
This added value service gave our clients peace of mind that the forms were completed in both an appropriate format and timely fashion. This was no easy task given the very tight 42 day deadline for submission. At the time of going to print, it is still unclear at this time if the Riot Act will respond to Business Interruption losses.
We continue to monitor this situation closely but in the meantime would urge our policyholders to submit claim information to the fullest extent that they can as quickly as possible. .
